My Bio
Welcome to my Personal Web-Site! My name is John Hackett and I would like to share my story with you. I am married to a wonderful woman, Jennifer and we have a precious little boy, Zachary, who was born in December of 2003. I consider my family my biggest success. I am the President and CEO of an exterminator business and absolutely love every minute of it. I love each and every one of my clients. I know their kid's and pet's name and a little part of myself is poured in with every job we perform. We take our job very seriously and watch each other to make sure each job is done exactly right. Our industry is so personal that many of my clients are very good friends of my family. I've taken the saying, "Don't mix business with pleasure," and thrown it out the window. There is a scene in the movie, "Terminator", where Arnold Swartzeneger's character is described as someone who will do everything absolutely necessary to get the job done. That is how I feel about my career and why I put all the love, devotion, sweat, tears, and heart I have into my business. When I am not working or spending time with my family, I enjoy bird watching, reading, coin collecting, gardening and landscaping. I also love watching tennis, boxing and the Discovery Channel on TV. I belive you should do everything in moderation. It's OK to drink a little, eat a little, sleep a little, work a little, play a little, and sun a little. We all get into trouble when we do too much of any one of these. I would like to leave you with a personal quote of mine. "A little bit done each day, everyday in the same direction twoards what you want to accomplish is better than trying to do it all at once."
