My Bio

Hi and welcome to my personal website. My name is Lisle H. Meadows and let me tell you something about myself. I have had some sort of job since I was twelve, so it seems I’ve been working all my life. Let it be working on the farms in the summer as a child or shaping iron for 23 years, it’s always been my job to keep working. I joined the military when I was 22 and worked in the Corp. of Engineers in England. There I taught others how to read blueprints and carpentry skills and that’s when I found my greatest passion for ironworking. In the Army where I got most my skills with metal, I was able to build and operate my own welding shop back in Colorado. To keep tradition alive my son Thomas also works as an ironworker at age 42. I am 77 and live my life in Montrose, Colorado. I keep busy with my welding shop and working with “Hands On Welding” which teaches kids the necessary skills to make a career out of metalworking. Please enjoy my website and remember, “If at first you don’t succeed, keep trying, someone will get tired of seeing you fail.” Also check out the links at the bottom of the page to learn about money-making opportunities.
