My Bio

Aloha! Masakazu Nagano here and welcome to my Personal Web-Site, but you can call me "Maso." Let me just brag a bit and say, it sure is great to be living in Hawaii. My wife Alice and I love it. We couldn’t think of anywhere better to be. Let me tell you something about myself rather than my island. After serving my country in WWII in the 79th Engineer Construction Battlion, I was employed in the building construction business as a plaster/cement mason. Forty years ago I joined the Honolulu Labor Union, Local #630, O.P.C.M.L.A. in the United States and Canada. Now I am a fraternal member. After I retired, I began caring for my wife as she is confined to a wheelchair. I am very lucky to be receiving health care for her treatments and if it weren’t for T.J. Rohleder, I would be paying a lot more for her medicine. I started building my own shop in the backyard so I would be able to keep up with my creative side of masonry. I also keep busy by gardening; in my pictures you will see all of my roses and other assortments of beautiful flowers that I grow. I would like to thank you for coming to my site and have a great day! Aloha!

We like to pride ourselves with the beauty of our rose gardens.

Pretty, aren't they?

This is one of our best looking flowers.

You might not have noticed but we have these gardens everywhere.

Now I'm working on installing the tile in the carport.

This is a cabinet I built for one of my friends.

Here's the front entry of our home. You have already seen most of the inside.

Here is the view we get to look at every morning. Another asset of living in Hawaii.

I finally finished the tile work in the carport.

Here are just some of my homemade flower pots we use.

And here's another one of our wonderful gardens.

This is our pineapple plant growing its fruits.

This is going to be another garden right next to my workshop on the right.

I started building my own shop so I can work more at home.

Here's our boat hitched to the trailer. We like to go riding around every now and then.

These are our Pikaki flowers. They are pure white in bloom.
