My Bio

Hello and welcome to my Personal Web-Site. My name is Tom Nelson and I appreciate you taking the time to get to know me. This site is all about making connections and breaking barriers that keep people from getting to know each other. Throughout a 37 year career in Industrial sales/marketing and management, I truly can attest to the power of making and maintaining connections with customers that have oftentimes become friends. One of my greatest accomplishments pays tribute to a very simple philosophy that is a cornerstone of business, as well as life. I once took over a struggling industrial textile sales territory and turned it into a $4 million dollar a year account. This was accomplished by recognizing the wants and needs of my customers and meeting those needs with honesty, integrity and good old fashioned hard work, all the while making meaningful connections along the way. Simply put, I planned my work and worked my plan, while treating people the way I like to be treated. It’s amazingly simple but you and I both know that many companies today have lost sight of how to treat their customers. I am proud of my service in the U.S. Army and my 37 year career. Typically, you would expect someone like me to be enjoying a well deserved retirement, and I am. I like to travel (especially to Ireland) and spend a lot of time studying history, science and great literature. My hobbies include aviation, fishing, classical music and music from the 40’s, 50’s and 60’s. However I remain committed to my new business you will find linked to this web-site. Making sincere connections with my customers is still my priority and is the principle that drives me still. Thank you and enjoy my pictures.
